Course Waivers
SALES AGENTS
If you have completed 1 or more of the qualification courses previously, it would count as a “waiver” from having to take them again. You would simply need to provide your certificate of completion(s) and/or transcript(s) to the DRE. There is no time limitation as to when the course(s) had to have been taken.
Here is a list of the courses we provide and may be waived if you have already taken any of them:
MANDATORY:
Real Estate Principles and Real Estate Practice.
ELECTIVES:
- Appraisal
- Economics
- Finance
- Loan Brokering
- Property Management and Law (Legal Aspects).
We provide Law (Legal Aspects) as the elective in our main package since it is one of the courses that has more information contained in it related to the State Exam. Take a look at the courses we offer and course descriptions. You can also review the complete list, which may include additional courses a person may use as a waiver.

Alternative Package | Sales Agents Only
If you still need 1 or 2 of the courses. We offer an alternative package that includes the course(s) you will need plus our license preparation program. If you have a different circumstance or already have course textbooks, you may call the school at 1-800-877-7008 to ask questions or put together a customized package.
